Oops! I missed the first day of school, which actually happened in July, before we went on vacation. I like to start an abbreviated schedule of subjects in July so that we can be relaxed throughout the school year, taking off days here and there for visits, trips, and spontaneous fun days. Not allowing too much time between the end of the old school year and the beginning of the new means I don't have to do much re-teaching in math, either. :)

Nathaniel started kindergarten this year! Now all six are part of the "The Pilgrim's Progress Academy."
My eldest is in the SEVENTH grade. Wow. That's...REAL school. :)
