Dear All-
Please pray for the folks in Port-au-Prince after the earthquake. Our creche with all the nannies, babies, and young children is near the epicenter. Our orphanage director lives up the mountain. We support a clinic in the mountains and the parents of my dear friend Hanneke live near our orphanage director. We have not heard if they are okay. We know the Livesay family is okay (www.livesayhaiti.blogspot.com). A fellow adoptive mom has been trying to get in touch with Dr. B., but has not been able to get through with the phone lines jammed. My heart goes out to those adoptive parents still waiting to bring their kiddos home and not knowing if they're safe. My heart also goes out to our kids' birthparents - hoping and praying they're okay.

LeAnne just reported on facebook... Dr. B, Claudette and the staff at the orphanage are fine. Awaiting word on the orphanage. The roads are impassable and phone service is out.
