News on the Ground

Hey, all-
I'm just continually amazed by those who willingly leave the comforts of their homes, their families, and their lives to serve in Haiti. Here is one: www.sleepydoctor.blogspot.com. Here's a warning: she's a doctor and she will post pictures. I'm not squeamish at all, so I don't mind reading it, but Daniel would probably pass out. :) Dr. Jen is supported by Providence Ministries and will work with Heartline Ministries, the organization the Livesays work for. Thank you, Dr. Jen, for taking care of the people of Haiti, and for caring enough to do it.

Short update on Dr. B.'s kids - only 1 NLL child and 1 HFC child have made it out so far. The parents of the HFC kid didn't even know he had left until he was in the air on his way to Chicago!We are continuing to pray. Dr. B. is going back for the third day today to try to get visas for three children going to the same family. May he find favor in the eyes of our government to get those kids OUT and home!
