Families are being reunited! Unfortunately for our orphanage, they are only coming out of Haiti in ones and twos. Our orphanage director does have an appointment with the Embassy to look at the whole group's files either tomorrow or Friday. Please pray that all the paperwork will be in order for the kids to be able to leave THAT DAY. The impetus to get kids out is slowing down, and we want those kids who have parents to get out SOON. Here is a sweet story as a follow-up to the story in a previous post: http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%253A%252F%252Fwww.kptv.com%252Fvideo%252F22342558%252Findex.html&h=bcf1f40beecf37bc692b344355854c65&ref=mf
There has been some uplifting news in the adoption world in our co-op. One of my friends just had her court date for Ethiopia, and the kids are officially hers!! She and her husband will travel within six weeks to pick up their precious children. Another friend just notified me of her adoption through the Ukraine, and she gave me a picture of her precious son to pray for him. What blessings these are!!
Speaking of blessings, my eldest blessing just turned ELEVEN on Sunday. Wow. I will do a post for her with actual pictures (NO! Pictures? On a blog? Crazy.) No time this morning as I prepare for schooling with the kids. We're trying to get a lot in before we leave to take Daniel down to Ft. Benning in late February.
Just keep swimming.
